The 2019 Heritage Tin celebrates Dorchester County watermen. Featuring the art of Cambridge resident Lesley Giles, the original watercolor is rendered in vibrant shades of crimson, salmon and gold. Her design captures the tradition of hand tonging for oysters as the sun rises over the Hoopers Island’s iconic lighthouse.The 2019 commemorative tin is the perfect gift for oyster, antique and Eastern Shore lovers alike!

Gather with friends of the federation to honor our 2019 award winners and their inspiring stories of coastal stewardship.
This year’s celebration will feature gourmet seafood selections from several restaurants, as well as fresh, local oysters from different waters of our state, including Hoopers Island-affiliated Carolina Beach Oyster Company in Wilmington. Learn more about CB Sales and this year’s oysters here.
Tickets are $50 for federation members and $60 for nonmembers.
Hoopers Island is proud to join Congressional Seafood for an educational day of fishing on the Chesapeake Bay with their top customers.
Hoopers Island Oyster Co. is pleased to support the “Art of Craft Beer,” a fundraiser featuring exclusive pairings of craft beer with original art – framed drawings, paintings, photography, and wood carvings – to benefit the Dorchester Center for the Arts and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Ticket includes tastings of six RAR beers, entertainment, light refreshments, and the opportunity to bid and buy artworks created by BJ Wheatley, Brian Wozny & Jameson Harrington. Tickets are $35 or $40 at the door.
Hoopers Island will join local business leaders for the 10th Anniversary of Celebrate Dorchester, an event showcasing the County’s food and heritage. Our Chesapeake Gold oysters will be paired with a local chef who will prepare a dish featuring our bivalves.
