AQUACULTURE AMERICA 2018 returns to one of the favorite entertainment spots in the world for the only major national aquaculture conference and exposition held in the U.S. The U.S. Aquaculture Society (formerly U.S. Chapter of WAS) joins with National Aquaculture Association and the Aquaculture Suppliers Association to produce the annual Aquaculture America meetings.
The Oyster South Symposium (OSS) is being held by Oyster South, Inc. (a non-profit dedicated to advancing oyster aquaculture in the southern US), in collaboration with National Sea Grant, Alabama Cooperative Extension and Auburn University, to bring together producers, gear suppliers, distributors, chefs, food writers, vendors, researchers, students and managers from the southeast region to discuss pressing issues and relevant, practical research on oyster aquaculture on January 27-28th, 2017 in Auburn, AL.
The East Coast Commercial Fishermen’s and Aquaculture Trade Expo is the only commercial fishing show produced in the Mid-Atlantic region. Each year thousands of commercial fishermen, charterboat captains, aquaculturists, scientists, educators and public from Maine to Florida enjoy the show.
Since 1975, the Milford Laboratory has convened the Milford Aquaculture Seminar (MAS) as a forum for technology transfer among the Lab, aquaculture community, scientific and academic communities, regulators and the public. MAS is held every January. In 2015 the decision was made to hold the MAS jointly with the Northeast Aquaculture Conference and Expo (NACE), and this arrangement will continue in odd numbered years. The next joint MAS/NACE meeting will be January 2019.
